Kansas - They started the season slow, but they have really picked it up recently. If they get a 2 seed, I think they have an outside shot at the Final Four, as long as they continue to play the way they are now. Just like Nova, though, if they go cold from behind the arc, they tend to struggle. They tend to have a little trouble when they play a bigger team, but that win at Michigan State was a statement game. Je'Kel Foster is deadly from 3-point range when he gets on a roll, and Jamar Butler is a solid ball-handler. They play a similar style to Nova, but they have a slightly better big man in Terence Dials.

Ohio State - Now I'm a bit biased here, since I'm from Buckeye country, but they are on a roll. They have proven that they can play with anyone (see the 1st UConn game, Texas game), so as long as they don't have an off-night shooting, they're a lock for the Final Four. Their biggest problems will be their depth and their bench. Randy Foye can do it all, Mike Nardi and Allen Ray are deadly from behind the arc, and Kyle Lowry is the most fearless guard since the Answer that I have seen.

Villanova - Definitely not the most talented team in the land, but they have the best 4 guard combination that anyone has ever seen.

Some of these teams are obvious, while some are definitely under-the-radar, but what they all have in common is that I have just jinxed them. So, since I'm always an ace at picking winners in my brackets (haven't won a pool in almost 10 years), I decided to throw out some teams that I think will make some noise during March. This is definitely the greatest time of the year, right up there with Christmas and the annual "Monopoly" game at McDonald's. At least I'm getting back right in time for March Madness. Wow, can't believe I haven't posted for this long.
